Potential Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Sourcing and identifying candidates for engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, operations, quality, maintenance, management, and technical sales roles
  • Speaking with candidates to understand their background, experience, motivations, and career goals
  • Supporting recruitment searches from intake through candidate presentation
  • Building relationships with candidates and employers in technical and industrial markets
  • Conducting market research and identifying companies hiring in JP Recruitment’s core sectors
  • Supporting business development, sales outreach, and client relationship-building
  • Managing candidate and client information in the recruitment database
  • Representing JP Recruitment in a professional, practical, and relationship-focused way

Who We’re Looking For

We are interested in speaking with people who may bring one or more of the following:

  • Experience in recruitment, sourcing, sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing work
  • A strong interest in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or technical industries
  • A commercial mindset and comfort speaking with people by phone, email, LinkedIn, or in person
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
  • A practical, professional, and self-motivated approach to work
  • An interest in learning the recruitment industry and building expertise in a focused market
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is an asset
  • Prior 360 recruitment or technical recruitment experience is an asset, but not required for every opportunity
