Maintenance Electrician

A market leader in the building materials industry is looking for a Maintenance Electrician in Toronto, ON. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is a day shift with solid pay.

Responsibilities:

·     Responsible for maintaining all existing equipment plus the installation of new electrical systems, conduits, switches, A/C drives and safety devices

·     Build, installation and start-up of new equipment

·     Perform preventative maintenance (PM) as well as mechanical work

·     Must be able to work with minimal supervision and exercise a high degree of safe working habits

·     Must be a self-motivated, hardworking individual with a strong sense of urgency

Qualifications:

·     Must possess a valid 309A Construction and Maintenance License with Apprenticeship served in Canada

·     Industrial Electrician Licence would be an asset

·     Strong troubleshooting skills – CNC, PLC based equipment

·     Sound knowledge of electrical systems
